Hi guys,
Does anyone know of a garage in the Birtley area who can change core plugs on a Chimaera with the engine in situ.
I have been told it can be doen but i do not have a garage since moving house and do not fancy crawling around the car on axel stands in this weather.

If not i might chance a trip to Spanner It and do the job myself.

Trouble is the car is my daily driver so i need the job done in one day preferably...!

Cheers

Andy

Tony at hhc in hexham is very good and a tvr dealer. I have some customers around that area, mainly truck garages, there and a couple do cars too. I could ask next week if you like? Pm me if so. Dave

Cheers for the pointers Dave.

I have just found a place in Birtly not two minutes from my house who can do the work. RH Auto Services in Birtley. Never used them before but it has to be worth a punt..!

Many many many years ago I stopped a core plug leak in my Landrover by smearing a bit of liquid metal around the plug.

Never leaked again.
