I have still had no luck finding any secure inside winter storage to rent.
surely there must be some available,

I went through the exact same exercise a few weeks ago. Needed to store two cars, quick access not much of an issue as I'm overseas for a few weeks at a time.

Drew a blank tbh. Especially with anything north east based. I've ended up going with a company near Leeds, not ideal but when I'm home I'm between derby and Newcastle a lot so not sure what is ideal. Pm if you want more info.
