HD Video Camera hire/loan?

I'm looking to borrow/loan/hire a HD video camera for some in-car footage on track, after using my own camera last time and wanting to see if I can better the quality before spending a few hundred quid buying something.
Something like a Go-Pro or similar for use inside the car, looking through the windscreen.
Anyone from the North East area know of a place that would be able to help? Anyone got one they would be happy to loan?
