I have managed to obtain a full stainless exhaust system including tubular manifold for my cvh engined morgan, I now need someone to fit it for me.

Any recommendations?

Hi mate, can recommend formula one, they are Lotus specialists but will look after other marques too. They will do any necessary tweaks to it to get it right, so above and beyond the three bolts most halfrauds type dealers would offer. Not the cheapest, but will do a first class job to get it right.

AAS.

End of search.

I too read a few good things and made a phone call. A brief chat left me feeling good about having them work on my car, and confident that they could what I was looking for.

Called in to have a look at the set-up, and to finalise what work would be carried out.

Very happy to agree to the work. Dropped car off, me and the good lady went to the Metro Centre for the day, picked the car back up later that afternoon.

Work was first class, attitude of the staff matched that, price was as agreed and even turned out a bit cheaper as they did a few bits that would have been extra.

No complaints at all, and have sent a few others up there who are as happy as I am. Have been speaking to them about some more work actually......

Good luck and hope you get sorted

AAS - not the cheapest, sometimes the waiting list is fairly long, so get in early and get a slot booked. What those guys can't do with a few bits of pipe isn't worth seeing. They did a brilliant job on my exhaust, which was a relatively simple job, but they did it absolutely perfectly. Every time I've been in though, they've been doing crazy manifolds for V8 cars - their work is brilliant, hence the waiting list.

I'm feeling comfortable with AAS, thanks, I'll phone em up for a chat. Maybe they will be able to squeeze me in somewhere, I would expect that the job will be reasonably straightforward, the exhaust I have obtained came off a morgan race car, with the same cvh motor, so should just be a case of ripping off the old and bolting the new one on, but one of the marvelous things about morgan is that you cant guarantee every one is the same, so having someone who can work around these issues would be ideal

AAS is the best, quite simply nowhere can touch them locally
We have a garage in Stockton and take all our custom exhaust work to them

AAS are the best, I'd say. Never used them personally but a lad at work has had several of his cars there and the work always looks top notch and the place is always busy when I go past!

AAS Fabricate exhausts and Manifolds and build all custom systems and tube work.

The others listed just fit other peoples products..

Their fabrication skills are second to none and they work in Stainless and even inconnel if required.

I've got a mate who works down there, and he did a good job on mine. So there tongue out

On balance though I'd still go with AAS if money and time weren't an object (they certainly were an object for me at the time though).

AAS cant help me, they only work with their own stuff, Which I can understand tbh.....

REvolution booked up til next week

Thinking laterally, I could perhaps use somewhere in Hartlepool as I work there 2 days a week - if anyone has any alternative tips

What about MacDonalds? I'd offer to help but I'm properly flat out for the next couple of weeks.
