Air Conditioning Specialists Sunderland or North East?

Had a 270d CLK on SORN for around a year. I ran the car and ran the air con several times during this time and it was fine. However, decided to put it back on the road this week but the air con is no longer working With the temperature set to Lo its still blowing warm air. The car has the dual side automatic climate fitted.

I'm hoping this is just a regas issue although if it needs regassing it suggests there is also a leak, possibly from lack of use drying out a seal. Worst case it could be a compressor or major part I suppose but I'm staying glass half full!

Anyway, can anybody recommend an Air Con specialist in the area who will be able to give me a diagnosis and fix please? The cars 7 years old and I want to avoid main dealer prices if possible!

I don't have any suggestions, but I would also be interested in this as the clitty needs a regas / diag.

Iused this guy on the 182 when it needed doing. Don't know if he's still trading but worth a try

my CLK air con is not working too. Computer says zero pressure so there must be a leak, also looking for repair in the Sunderland area!

+1 He converted the system on my Excel to use a more legal gas and it's been going well ever since. Very knowledgable guy.

Try DBM in Ryton, Darren is a cracking bloke and his mechanics really know their stuff. I take all my cars there and have never had anything but praise for the place.
I've been meaning to book my pops' Golf in to get his air con sorted, they quoted a good price too.
