Plastic welding..... any one decent?
Discussion
I have heard you can weld plastic now, as you do with metal?
I'm removing some fog lamps which will leave 2 holes in a plastic panel, which I would like to fill in with I guess a plate, but want to avoid cracking at a later stage.. which you would get doing it conventionlally with filler
are there any decent places to do this and paint up afterwards?
thanks

Merlin Coachworks in Durham did the bumper on my Ibiza Cupra after someone reversed into it. Didnt want to spend a fortune as the cars worth nothing.
They plastic welded the bumper and resprayed it for about £200. Excellent job done, good colour match and you cant see the weld even though you know its there.
