Bank Holiday drive out?

Just wondering if anyone has any plans for a bank holiday drive out?

I'm always up for a PistonHead drive out but will the roads be too congested on the Bank Holiday. Mind you there are places to drive which are not frequented by the average motorist. Anything in mind?

Would love to but on family duties, Alnwick castle day with miniD and co.

Will organise something on here soon ready for the better weather kicking in, it's been long overdue.

We havent got a ph type car now for a run out, down to one car at the min between us (the evoque).

The mrs is getting an astra gtc in the next week or so (her choice not mine) its only 140hp but should handle ok so this might let me get on a run out in the future, though bringing up the rear!

I don't mind organising another run out... but the proviso would be for me to have a PAX ride as I don't have a car. Not that most will be interested but my car turned out to be a total rot box, hence MOT fail. I'm just finishing off paying debts as I got a new job, so I'm saving up for a new car... but that won't be for a while!

Nevertheless, I'll happily organise it if there is a definite chance of a PAX ride.

However, I don't want to steal Sean's thunder, but I'd still like a PAX ride if it was offered
