Hi All,

Does anyone know of a good/cheap welding fabrication shop in the Birtley/Washington area...?

I am removing the air flow meter in my TVR and need a peice of tube 75mm dia 300mm long with a boss that has a 3/8" ntp thread welded in the middle to take an air temp sender.

I just need this last part and the chim is back on the road with megasquirt and edis electronic ignition...!!!

Even just someone who could make the boss would be a help...!

What material is your tube? Aluminium, mild steel, stainless steel?

If mild steel this adaptor with the BSP male threads cut off would do exactly what you need.

Was open on material choice but i think i might have cracked it.
I was thinking of using a BSP socket and cutting that in half, i know the threads are different by .5mm but it will go on a few turns which should be enough as it is not taking any pressure.

I will go and have a look at rod and custom in portabello though as i have seen the signs and want to go and have a nosey...!
