Divan Khana in Concord used to be pretty good but not been there personally for a while. Mate still uses it though.

The Jewel in the Crown in Birtley is really good if your that side of Washington as is the Last Days of the Raj in Low Fell

Memories of India in Chester Le Street is nice, but I usually just drive through to Solomans in Newcastle for a take away.. Quite far to go from Washington, but it's worth it.

When I used to live up there I always went to the one in Albany... was an awesome Indian if its still there.

think its called Albany Spice?
