Any knowledge on a Monaro for sale

It's time to purchase a Monaro so I'm starting to look close to home and working ouitwards. The car is at Evans Halshaw Garage at Blaydon - http://www.evanshalshaw.com/vehiclesearch/used/vau... and on the PistonHeads site.
I'm also interested in a blue one at Portway Car Centre - Birmingham.

Thanks V88Dicky - bought it last week end - just waiting for cheque to clear and insurance. Everything checked out on it though I'm sure I'll find out more later.... it is in need of a good service. Any suggestions as to the best place.

Sherwoods in Darlington have done my VXR8 I'm sure others use them too.

AAS do all my servicing and upgrades (when wallet allows ), they really know their stuff.

Will you have your car by Easter Sunday, for a trip down to Malton?

Hopefully picking the car up on Tuesday - so trip to Malton out of the question and I'm busy lambing at the moment.
I would be keen to have it serviced ASAP and find out what I don't know about the under carriage. We all seem to learn afterwards.....and be a bit wiser!
