got stopped today 3pm by the boys in blue on A1231 after being followed north on A19.I had not done anything wrong (honest) but was informed a yellow TVR had been spotted 'Travelling at excessive speed' on the A19 south around Tyne area if it's someone on here watch out or change your colour

That's just bollocks. Fancy stopping someone just because of the colour and make of their car.

I'm surprised I'm not stopped all the time judging by how many TVR's I spotted last weekend the same colour as mine. In fact, I might print off this picture and keep it in the car just in case.

Bet it was by the same idiot that stopped my Elise a few weeks ago - again I was totally legal.
Plod pulls me in on the A1231 and says 'you'd have been off and over the speed limit if you had not spotted me'
obviously a new offence - the possibility that you might speed cus you have a fast car, but didn't because you saw the brightly painted cop car.

He was obvioulsy seriously pissed that he couldn't ticket me, and eventually tells me off for the spacing of my number plate....
