OK Diner Meet - This Monday 5th September

Hi all,

This monday night at 7:30 onwards, there are some clubs/forums meeting at the OK Diner on the A19 near Elwick:

I'm heading over as well and I wondered if any other PH'ers fancied it as well?

Should be a good meet as the Street Rod boys seemingly always turn up in force!

Think we might be heading over from Newcastle to get there for 8ish, hope the weather behaves itself, it would be nice to get the lid off!

One of the best A19 diner hot rod meetings I have ever attended.

No - honest! It is also the only one iv'e attended

Quite surreal.

Two TVRs, a Porsche and my Lexus. I knew I should have bought the Tuscan!

Still, it got us out of the house for a couple of hours.

Nice one Daggsy - see you on Sunday at CITP.

Hopefully with some more cars this time?

It's this Wednesday isn't it. Think you may have been given misinformation about Monday.

The meet may be a bit emotional this week as they are remembering the young lad that passed away in the drag race.

The OP states it also, so I was going off that info. That and the fact that others were there baffles me.

Not to worry though. Loved the Porsche and TVRs, Lexus was tidy too. Guess my silly little car was not in keeping with those on here with deeper pockets? I'll stick with putting the lottery on until such times ;-)
