HI all
I currently own a 1980 corvette C3 which I have had for the last 10 years, I'm considering moving to a C5 convertible , but have only seen images of them and not in the flesh ( or metal!)

IF any owners of C5's out there fancy showing it off to me I would really appreciated it ( in and around the Newcastle area)

thanks
Dave

BlackZeds C5 Z06 is the way to go.....When will you ever get to use a Convertible....Lets be Honest LOL. I know the car well it is in Superb Condition ....a real 'Head Turner' both in looks and Sound. He's in the Cleveland area once seen and driven you'll want it for sure! He's selling it to move up to a C6 Z06 so I know he'll take a sensible offer
Best of Luck!

This one has been looked after just the same smile
Just looked at your profile pic, is that my old one next to the vert ?

I know it is a little tired in parts, but it is convertible, probably some discussion on price and possible part ex scenario as well which I would need to be able get my next one!
Yours is an amazing piece of kit Dave, I actually wouldn't mind seeing as I haven't seen any C5's up close! but don't want to waste your time as I need to sell mine and won't get near what you want for yours even after that I'm afraid.
even selling off kidneys etc!
but if you going to A19 cafe? mights try and get down to this, unless your out and about sometime

Hi Dave !
Yep that yellow car was a lovely C5, my French buyer was very pleased with it, as was I !
That is your old car next to the vert, I swapped the Borla exhaust onto the vert, fantastic noise ! you can't beat a manual with an aftermarket pipe, amazing WOT & overrun ! I had a Z06 with a Corsa exhaust. Wow !!
Best of luck with the sale Jez wink

Hi Dave
I live near the Racecourse in Newcastle, but I actually work based out of the office in Wynyard Park, and drive past the diner on my way home sometimes!
Sunday could be good, if the weather's OK I could hopefully get my car out as well, although looking at the forcast decent weather until the weekend!!!

is the diner the 29th this month I think I have read somewhere?

76000 miles is hardly to the moon and back, you havent seen the car so you cant and shouldnt make comments on its condition to anybody.

Besides, slagging off others around isnt the best way to sell your own. Each car is sold on its own merits and all are priced according to condition.

Mr Groves it was a joking throwaway comment on the mileage.
You do have me on a technicality, if i remember from school the moon
is about 240,000 miles away one way.
Also calculated out its done less than 7,000 per year which is good.
I'm still looking as to where I commented on its condition or slagged it off,
only the mileage I commented on, which is a fact that you stated.
We don't need to go further on this.

Dave, looks like the weathers gonna be ok for the weekend.
Have you thought of anywhere to meet yet.

Dave.
