Evening chaps,
just wondered if anyone knows of a Mini independant specialist in the north east, the nearer to Newcastle/Morpeth area the better.

My girlfriends Mini Cooper has a couple of niggles and funny noises that could do with sorting. If it's cheap we'll sort them, if not, it's getting traded in.

Cheers in advance. Mark. smile

Just had mine in at Forster Autocentre on Wallsend high street for new brake pads.
They race minis so know what they're doing with them. Why not give them a call, they were a nice bunch of guys and reasonably priced!!

Might be a bit late but robertshaw racing did work on my mini a few years back, was very impressed with them.

Morning Andy,
Cheers for that. Not too late, we haven't rang anywhere yet.
Getting a few dents taken out of it tomorrow morning, but the girlfriend's still to-ing and fro-ing over whether to throw a few quid at it and get it back to perfect, or trade it in for a Lexus 220D or a BMW Z4.
How different are those cars?! Bloody women. hehe

If we keep it I'll definitely give either of the people above a call. It's just making a sqeaky ticking under load, not engine though, probably exhaust or manifold pulling apart slightly. Got a couple of other little niggles, that I'd rather someone who knows these cars well, could have a listen to.

I'll post back on who we use. Thanks. smile

Evening Clough,
yep totally forgot about Sharons. God knows how!
Have done nothing yet. Had a load of dents taken out last week, so at least it's looking tidier.
Think J's keeping it though, so it's got to go somewhere for a good going over before the winter. I'll give that guy a call when I'm allowed a day off from this months DIY project. wink
Cheers, speak soon.
