Any more detail on location/route/viewing etc? Had a quick look around on interweb and not coming up with much.

Apparently it's closed to spectators which is a shame as there's some nice stuff entered !

you may be able to spectate on the corner thats used on the cheviot stages which gives a decent view of the cars doing different things if the access isn't shut by the MOD (can't remember if there is an MOD gate or not for that) then thats where people will go, if you have a search for cheviot stages 2010 info it should give you directions to get there

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&biw=1366&...

the top result on that search will probably be part of some stages, but as i said MOD might not let you in

if you enter the ranges at signs for Otterburn Camp (about 400mtres north of the A68 junction)
and head for the airstrip (basically keep straight on at all junctions) - that is where service is and the stages will be easy to find from there.

Leighton Hill is not being used competitively this year, it is being used as an access road so you wont see anything from there and there are no other spectator points on the ranges. The reason it is non spectator is that the army don't want people wandering around the ranges and blocking access roads and if loads of spectators turn up it could risk the loss of the ranges to rallying which would be a great shame. I would also say that if people still insist on going not to go to the airstrips where service is as there is no room to park and the army and organisers will not be happy if the access roads to the airstrips are blocked with cars.

If you want to go - why not sign on as marshals - organisers always need helpers
