Noticed a couple of small signs earlier today advertising a classic show in corbridge next weekend. Any one know more about it?

I'll be there with a trade stand.

Fingers crossed for good weather!

Not sure I'm going to get there afterall, but as a word of warning, they were tarring and chipping the A69 near corbridge the other day - the morgan got peppered by a big truck

Amazing weather today, popped across to Corbridge to take some pics of the event. My images of the day if anyone is interested can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/carsnap/sets/72157627...

Not often you see two Jaguar SS 100's at the same show!

Thanks for the picture of my TVR in the car park ferraridave, I had a great drive back home to Carlisle in it via Hartside.

We had a great day. Amazing weather, beautiful cars and lots of lovely people who bought our stuff! smile

Think my best in show prize would go to the old car transporter full of cars, just a pity the way it was parked meant you couldn't see it in all its glory.

I never noticed the green SS but the grey one was a replica , nice one mind.

It was a great day for it. I didn't get as many pics as I'd have liked to (I'm too fussy when it comes to other people in my pictures).

The Ferrari was stunning and very red indeed:

I think this has the potential to be a much bigger show. The field was only part used and the layout was fairly standard. There were a couple of clubs there outside the MG based ones, but only a handful.

I know it's early, but I'm thinking about asking the organisers if I can get a stand for PH. The show is apparently open to cars up to the 90's plus 'anything interesting' which could cover pretty much anything the NE PH members have to offer. It's mainly a show for the older classics but some of the modern cars were getting attention too.

Anyone tentatively up for this next year: Free day out and I'll even fetch a BBQ. smile

If so, give me an idea of what you'll be arriving in, so I can put it to the organisers.

They are both replicas, grey car registered in the 60's and the green one in the 70's. Stunning cars though, I wouldn't say no to either.

I thought so. I've only come across one real one in the north east, and I was parked next to it at Pickering show. I beat it in fact cool
