Was changing the plugs on my Dolomite sprint this afternoon.
Cylinder 1 - Ok
Cylinder 2 - plug snapped just below / on the nut leaving the threaded case in the plug hole.
Other than taking the head off, is there any way of getting the remainder of the plug out with the engine in situ?
Being a 16v the plugs are deep in the head.
Are there are specialists out there that are experienced in doing this kind of work?????
Ideas and suggestions welcome..................

Is it possible to drill a small hole in the middle of it and use a screw extractor?
Not without dumping a load of swarf in the cylinder.... unless you can get a stud extractor down the plug hole or are lucky with a large screwdriver, you'll need to take the head off. Is access any easier with the rocker cover off?Good luck
