New Speed Camera Van

Just seen Cleveland Police new speed camera van's. 60 plate Fiesta vans with a camera that comes up out of the roof, back end of van is dark orange and red chevrons.

The sneaky bas***d has it parked in a carpark with the camera sticking up over top of other cars getting you on Easington Road in Hartlepool at the moment.

All you see is a black ET type head in the air.

It says it is ANPR technology for illegal parking around schools, etc. The article does not mention it being used as a speed camera, but it does have camera warnings on the side of the van. This may just be a visual deterant though.

Saw a speed camera van on Gosforth Park roundabout at around 1200 today. Wonder where it was off to.

This is a council vehicle and is not a speed camera
