I need to get a couple of bits of bodywork rust cut out, filled and sprayed on the Corrado. Can anyone recommend a good quality, reasonably priced body shop in SE London please?

Thanks!

Grove Autos in Beckenham. Speak to Alan. 020 8778 3551.

Edited to say that they will do preferential rates for private customers.

If you want to talk to someone else for a comparison, Mike's Coachworks in Camden 020 7485 4664 (not SE, but only 5 minutes walk from Camden station) tend to know what they're doing and carry out anything from localised bumper repairs to full body repairs on classic cars. Speak to Mike or Abdul.

Presumably you do not mean cash but the job will be discounted if it is for a direct customer with a correct VAT invoice issued

I'm interested in this as I have a bit of bodywork that needs doing on my Corrado in the next few months. I also live in SE london.

You're not the owner of the black VR6 I've seen in Borough are you?

Thanks for that recommendation. That's fairly local to me so I'll pop in to speak with them. It's a wheel arch and door edge so nothing too major.

I'm afraid not, I've got a red VR6 and usually drive it around the Caterham/Reigate/Dorking area. It's been in the garage over the winter I'm looking to recommission it in the next few weeks. I love the sound of a wound up VR6 on a warm day with the windows down cloud9

Also there's Gold Motors run by a PHer, yellowgriff - had a couple of quotes there and getting my wife's Puma's arches done there soon. Very nice chap, good prices, and they seem to do work on some high end stuff. Croydon branch and another one in Peckham.
