Quality Shoe Repair in / nr the City

I have a pair of Edward Green shoes that cost me a bundle but they are coming towards the end of their life. I must have had them over 10 years, and have had them factory refurbished a few times, but given the cost (about £140) it is no longer worth it. However, rather than consign to the franchise types in the station I wondered if someone could recommend a good local repairer who will do a decent job (full leather soles etc) for a more reasonable price? Tks.

Flannels, Nottingham send their repairs there and recommended the company to me.

For straight-forward repairs I have used Cobblers Nest and he is an amazing cobbler. He repaired my favourite stiletto boots after a run-in with a grate at London Bridge station. He did the repair on the spot and was so well priced I actually gave him a tip:

I have had such nightmares with cobblers (one spoiling my unworn Ferragamo's) I appreciate the value of a good one. He's a really lovely chap too
