London City / City of London
Discussion
So the City is the square mile, fine. However, what is considered to be "London City", as in which parts make up what is included when counting the population of London to rank the size of the city vs other cities in the UK?
The population of the City of London is something like 12,000 I believe, whereas the population of London City is considered to be more like 12 million.

Interestingly, one can also be a member of a different county! For example, Richmond-Upon-Thames is technically in Surrey, and has a Surrey post-code, but is still considered to be a borough of Greater London
Likewise most of Havering, Barking/Dagenham and Redbridge has IG (Ilford) or RM (Romford) postcodes.Where I live is inside the M25 but in Epping Forest DC: technically not in London at all

I think it counts as london as long as its got its own borough council, as Richmond does have.Gassing Station | London | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
