Anyone going to New York before Xmas?

A strange request but I need a massive favour from someone local ideally.

I need someone to pick something up from Bloomingdales in time from Christmas.

It's not big and it's not expensive but would have a lot of sentimental value.

If by any chance anyone is heading over that way please could you get in touch?

Don't mean to be rude by if it's special to you regardless of whether it has any monetry value or not, why don't you just courier it over? try UPS.

It would be safer than relying on a total stranger in a completely different country to get it for you!

Would UPS go to the store and buy it for me? I should've looked in to that The item was only worth $20 and the store doesn't ship overseas and I didn't have a US mailing address so I was stuck.

I wasn't asking a total stranger, I was asking a Pistonheader! and one of them came through brilliantly for me!
