I seem to meet/ chat to plenty of people from SW London. Anyone fancy a meet in Putney? OK, so Putney is where I live, but as the organiser I might as well suggest meeting somewhere convenient smile

I really like the Ship.. spend as much time there as I can.
There are a few other places which would be good (The Prince of Wales) but arent quite built to accomodate the Strawpedo style of some PH meets smile

Ship is good for me, and strawpeedoing there is encouraged, last summer the amount of nakedness, and jumping in the river that was going on, a few PHers drinking is nothing.

Ship used to be my local, well suppose the hurlingham was but I prefer the ship for drinking and the hurls for sport

I meant for a few sociable weekday drinks, not a full on session!

Fair enough hehe

Anyway, as opposed to this being a one off, I was hoping it could be something more regular just for a couple of hours or so every couple of weeks?

However, a big session as a welcome would work!

Me too Jamie, me too. That's how I want it to be.

OK, so I'll stand firm. Quiet social drinks over a couple of hours one weekday evening. No drinking games, no getting barred from local establishments and no trainers (hehe)

2. RacingPete
3. Kinky (perhaps)

Couldn't make it further out and somewhere with parking could you? Might be able to tempt the SAS lot. Mind you, you might not want them to come, I suppose. scratchchin

To get decent parking we'd need to move a fair way out, and then we'd be deep into SAS territory!

That said, there are quite a few spaces along the riverside on a weekday evening....

If you wanted nice we could do the waterside and then everyone can park there, or park near by the harbour club??

might be the wrong side of the river for you lot though.

I did do a pub evening at The Shy Horse in Chessington a couple of years ago. Nobody complained about the venue.

If it's a weekday, then I'd only be up for a quiet sess.

if it's a friday/sat night - then I'm all in for a hardcore sess.

My only request would be a location close to a train station (Putney, Richmond, etc, etc).

Will be good to catch up, K! biggrin

Also, Richmond is not a bad place to meet at some point in the future. Some nice bars there, especially Brouge! Good food and great beer.
