Garage or lock up in Blackheath

Just moved into the area, and need a place to keep the VX. Does anybody know where I can find one ten to fifteen mins walk from the train station.

I have done the usual trawl on line, but have drawn a blank on vaguley sensibly priced ones.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I'd imagine you'd have two hopes of that; no hope and Bob Hope. However, drop these chaps a line and see whether they can point you in the right direction

The company to contact regarding rent is BPC (Blackheath Property Company).

Yes, I know what you mean. Theres not much about. Looking at 1 later this week though, so fingers crossed.

I rented a council one on Predergast Road, just off Lawn Terrace so just behind the station. £30 a month. It was tatty and mine leaked, but came with (free) electricity. I gave mine up in June so might still be available.

Not a bad price. I have just signed for one at considerably more, but is is dry and in a pretty safe place.

Any contact details of where you rented from? Direct from council I would guess?

Yup, call the garage dept. at Lewisham Council. You will have to go there to fill out the form I think, which means going to Catford *shudder*, but for £30 a month when privately they are more like £100 it's good value.

if you want to catch another train to get to catford, i think i remember seeing some garages around st.dunstans.

Ok, time to bring this old thread back.

Found a garage 5 mins from my flat with water and elec. Great. Bad news is a tree came down on it a couple of weeks ago. Car is fine but need to find another place. Been searching all the usual places for several days, anybody know of any leads?
