Decent hotels with parking in Kensington
Discussion
Hello all, I need a bit of advice from those a bit more familiar with London than I am.
I am treating the girlfriend to a night at the opera at the Royal Albert hall in February next year, and am looking for a decent but not massively expensive hotel somewhere within walking distance (say a mile or so).
We'll drive down, so will need somewhere to park as well. Budget is about £150 for a Saturday night.
Any tips appreciated

You will need a great deal more than £150 a night for a good central(ish) hotel with parking. Double your budget. You can safely leave your car out in that area, and most single yellow lines are free parking on Sundays, or leave it alongside a parking meter, which will be free by late Sat afternoon.
There are some stunning hotels locally but none are cheap.

OP, don't know if you've sorted out your accommodation for February.. but if I was to suggest, take a look at the Marriott on Cromwell Road. Its a big hotel, rooms come in about £100-150 a night and they have on-site parking for £30 a day.
Good value for money, location is good. Plenty of buses to get you up to Hyde Park and bus, or a nice walk along Queen's Gate / Gloucester road.
