Hey all,

Big fan of sumptuous musicals. Am in town for a night and thinking of catching Love Never Dies.

Thoughts?

Seen Lion King, Phantom, Les Mis, Chicago.

I went (accidentally, you understand!) to see Love Never Dies not long after it opened - my best mate works in theatre and managed to "obtain" a couple of tickets.

Not really my thing, but the visual effects were fantastic. And a top-notch performance. To my mind there weren't any stand-out hit songs, like there were is Phantom, but I have to admit that it wasn't a bad way to spend an evening.

Avenue Q - seriously funny.

Not a full on musical though, more of a chuckle. Its an adult version of the muppets / seasame street - both guys and girls love it. smile
