Greatings!

I'm coming down to London with the family for a couple of nights in July and staying in Mayfair area.

I anticipate dumping the car somewhere and getting on the tube for the weekend; so, my question is, are there any PHers that live on the North side of London (M25/M1 area), who have a spare spot on there drive for two nights?

I don't know where I could leave my car where it'd be safe etc. so if you do have space, please pm me - a crate of Stellas finest is on offer.

Thanks for reading!

There are loads of safe quietish streets near Cockcfosters/Oakwood I can point out if interested, I haven't lived there for 5 or so years but my mates always did the same as you, you could also "streetview" the area before hand.

Do this. You can even use Streetview and check out the parking restriction signs. No parking restrictions on my road during the weekend, buts it's pretty central I'm afraid.

If I could help I would - I'm in the right area but I'm in a private development with allocated parking.

How far in do you want to go? Cockfosters or Oakwood are about the most northerly tube stations. Loughton (on the edge of Epping Forrest) might be worth a look if you're heading to the north eastern side.

If you're not averse to paying, there is a 24hour guarded underground carpark in St Johns Wood which costs about £20 for 24 hours. All manner of Aston/Ferrari/Bentley loveliness down there. Only 2 minutes from the tube station.

Why don't you just park in Park Lane? £56 for the weekend.
