Builder in SW London / Wimbledon area
Discussion
don't let a builder carry out electrical work unless he is, or uses a qualified sparks who can test, inspect and certificate the work.
Work has to be certificated unless all you are doing is changing a light bulb pretty much.
The old chestnut goes "nah, they charge too much" and "its only small and you don't need a certificate"( Odds on thet'll charge you a sparks rate anyway and pocket it themselves)
Any builder worth his salt employs registered and qualified and insured tradesmen.... plumbers, brickies, decorators etc etc
Preferably use an NICEIC registered electrician !Good luck with your project
