My little kit car is to appear at the Pistonheads show next month amongst the proper Supercars and stuff.

She's a bit tatty around the edges and I'd like to have her looking her very best when she's sat surrounded by cars costing upto twenty times what she's worth.

So, I'm looking for someone to do a proper paintwork clean on the car. I'm not interested on having the interior done as she's a stripped out racing machine.

Can anyone recommend me a company that can do a good job of bringing the paintwork up to scratch? The car was resprayed only two years ago and so isn't too shabby.

Although the car is garaged, the garage isn't big enough for anyone to clean the car so, that may be a problem this time of year.

I know very little about detailing so, any suggestions will be gratefully received.

Thanks.

My advice would be to post over in the Technical / Bodywork and Detailing forum.

Quite a few pros. seem to post in there so you never know you might get someone willing to do a deal in exchange for the odd business card tucked here and there on the car while it's at the show...

Thanks for your post.

I've decided to go with James of Auto Finesse in Ware.
