Help! Parking in Putney problem!

Hi all,

I've just moved to Putney (woo hoo), but I've not got my docs in order to sort a permit for my Flat. Now, to avoid getting clamped (again) I wondered if anyone knew where I can park for free for a few days while I get my shizzle in order.

if you go along upper richmond road and turn up doverhouse road there used to be free parking up there (but wouldnt leave it there for long to be honest)
