Just wandering if anyone here had been out and about taking photos of their cars infront of London Landmarks, or generally some cool places around London to take pics etc?

Am meeting a few mates this weekend to have a London Photoshoot and have a few ideas, but if anyone has any examples or suggestions that'd be awesome, don't wanna spend all night just driving around and not find anything.

cheers

i probably shouldn't say as there's a good chance you'll wake me up! but the end of finland st (se16) by the river has been the location for a couple of car photoshoots in the past. canary wharf background accross the river with nothing in the way.

Be a little bit careful outside of any big landmarks, the last time we parked in front of Buckingham Palace for a photoshoot we got moved on by armed police!

Everyone loves a DeLorean, and some great pics there mate.

We ended up pretty much getting told to move on everytime we stopped, security guards are so OTT, demanding that we pay a licence to have photos taken outside certain building. Those licences are for commercial companies, not a bunch of mates just wanting a few photos at 4am.

Anyway, we found Westminster quite good, and police weren't bothered by our creative parking. Down by the Excel centre there's a Newham Council office which makes a great backdrop. will post some pics up when they're edited up

Regents Park is not a bad area to take photos, nor is Notting Hill area. I like the more gritty areas near Blackheath or just into Greenwich and south of the river. Chiswick is great by the river as is Kew but neither of these are central London.

Warehouses around Wapping are a good backdrop - although I would say that as I live here! Trackdemon has taken a number of good photos around the area.
