Anyone planning to attend the show this weekend and fancy meeting up? I usually pop along sometime. Apparently, this year's theme is a celebration of 50 years of the mini.

I'm quite open to attend any of the three days.

Oh, didnt know there WAS such a forum.

hehe

I've checked the weather on Metcheck (pretty reliable usually) they don't forecast any rain. Iirc, I went on the Saturday last year. It doesn't get overwhelmingly busy.

I'd suggst that the Sunday would be the best of the days.

When trying to find a thread you read a few days earlier you discover just how many forums it might have been moved tobiggrin
I'll be heading over from E17 through Ponders End, you're already close to the venue I believe, so if you want to convoy about half a mile let me know hehe

The parking is pretty good Mickk. Easily enough space for all comers.

Mainly classics. But you never know what's going to turn up.

Maybe heading along to this with the other half tomorrow, so long as the weather holds out and I get the car washed! Probably late morning or early afternoon. smile

It was a good chance to take a look at some interesting machinery - glad I headed down. The only thing I would say is it was quite a lot of money. As an enthusiast I'm very happy to part with £9 as a donation to finance the Enfield and District Veteran Vehicle Society, but on a commercial level I'd have hoped to see a bit more going on.

Went on Sunday for the first time, bit dissappointing. Thought it would be larger. The only bargain we found was in the flea market auto-jumble. A friend I was with was after some plastic clips that screw to the rocker covers to hold the HT leads in place. As rare as rocking horse censored apparantly. We found a pair of rocker covers with them still on for £10.

Chris did you pay £9 to get in? Everyone else there only donated £7!hehe

Not if you go on Saturday. I didn't understand it either, but you pay more...

I went on the Monday, took the '64 Thunderbird and displayed her on the Woodford Car Club stand.

I was disappointed at the turn out, some stalls had packed up and gone and some of the cars too.
