Hi Guys,

I'm coming down to London in my Cerbera next week, and I'll be staying near Tower Bridge / Tower Hill.

Can anyone recommend any routes / runs for a shortish evening blast that takes in something interesting, e.g. bits of road where I can go over 30mph, blasts through tunnels, something with a few bends, anything fun?

I'm looking for routes that start near Tower of London, if possible.

Cheers guys,

Mike

Grab an A-Z and from North Side of TH, head East up The Highway. Will put you in close proximity to Limehouse Link / Rotherhithe Tunnel and if you get onto Commercial Road / East India Dock Rd, go a bit further and you'll get to the Blackwall Tunnel. South side of Blackwall Tunnell is probably the nearest you'll get to going over 30mph TBH. There will be other, smaller, covered railway arches on south side of Tower Bridge but less familiar with the area.

Be very careful of speed cameras and aim for late nights / early mornings - also Rotherhithe and Blackwall often have closures !

Cheers. Was just hoping for a couple of evening blasts in the car to show the lads that I've been working with over the last year or so in London (usually do trip by train, yawn).

Thanks for the advice.

big problems round there at the moment due to the start of the 'shard' building.
