Where to park near Shepherd's Bush Empire...

I'm going to the Shepherds Bush Empire next week for a gig. Trains from where I live in Kent is a bit of a pain so thought I'd drive. But where's a good place to leave the car?

I've heard there's a shopping centre close by but how dear are their charges??

Parking at Westfield is £3/4ph, the shopping centre across the green also has parking. However depending on time you go, you can park on yellow lines.

Check the signs. 6.30 is usually the cut off time. But, the local council may have different restrictions just to catch out folk like you who are going to a gig.

The restrictions in the area to the south of the green used to lapse after 6.30 I think leaving you free to park wherever you can find a space. However I'm pretty sure they changed it last November or so and put it forward a few hours because of people parking there for Westfield. Check the Shep. Bush council site. Also if you don't mind a bit of a walk the side streets off the Uxbridge road past the green (going westbound) are all free after 6.30 I think

Yup, some bits are 8pm other 6:30.

Thanks Guys. Spotted a warden so sat in the car till 8, got there at quater to, and was just around the corner from the venue. Spot on!!
