North London Meet Early March?
Discussion
Weekday evenings are difficult for me these days - don't usually escape until gone 7 - happy to head over later though.
That said, I think over the next month or two we're going to be struggling for light (and warmth) in the evenings too. How about going for a weekend this time and reverting to a weekday evening next time round when the days are a little longer?
Would also suggest that we could have an informal drive before or after for anyone who's interested? I would recommend this isn't publicised on the forum though after Blib's experiences last year!
So far, I think any day in March is good for me, but a quick scan of the events section reveals:
7th March - Sports car Sunday
21st March - PH Palmer Sport day

OK, how about the weekend of the 28th-29th March?
We'd have time to drum up a good turnout. and the weather should be a teeny bit kinder to us.
Count me in. We'd have time to drum up a good turnout. and the weather should be a teeny bit kinder to us.
Same place? Only there was a suggestion of another venue... I think Chris (or his mates) also gave the venue* a thumbs up
(*) The venue - we keeping it shush?

I think we should announce the time and place for anyone who's interested in coming along. I'm slightly worried that the cloack and dagger routine put some people off last time.
However, if anyone fancied a bit of a drive on the way over, that would be best kept to email only I reckon.
28th or 29th sounds good to me. Is Sunday possibly quieter?
With regards to location, I didn't think The Plough in Crews Hill was too bad. We also sussed out The Duke of York in between Barnet and Potters Bar and that looked good too - a bit more expensive, but plenty of space in the overspill car park. Any other suggestions?
The Duke Of York can get busy on a Sunday as it's popular for lunches. The Plough, although affording ample folliage for our friends in blue, does have two large car parks.
I agree about the cloak and dagger approach not being necessary. Only idiots would drive in such a way as to attract unwanted attention......
So, how about Sunday 28th March @ 2.30p.m?
This would give ample opportunity for any 'tour' to be added on during the day.
If that's agreed, I'll start a new thread with the details in the title and we can beging to spread the word.
If you fancy the Duke Of York instead or want to change any other detail then speak your brains now!

EFA Time and date sounds good to me. To be honest I'm happy with The Plough if that's preffered choice. It's known to the people who came before and it's good value. Just watch out for your friend waving the hair drier!
