Metropolitan line question

Hope someone can answer this.
I need to get to Uxbridge for a 10.00am work meeting in a couple of weeks time.
Travelling from Bedford station to Farringdon is easy and will be using the Metroploitan line from there to get to Uxbridge.
Can anyone tell me how frequent the tube trains are and how long the journey (from Farringdon to Uxbridge) will take?
