The Return Of The PH North London Meet

As the nights draw in and the days get cold, what better thing to do than blast along in an open car for a bit then stand around in a pub car park. Masochists of PH... You know you want to.

Who's up for a weekend afternoon (or lunch?) meet some time in late October or early November?

And what date? The weekend of the 25/26th October has been suggested by a couple of people. I presume the following one (being Halloween) would be difficult for a lot of people (I, for one, plan to be nursing fairly serious hangovers on both days!)

If it's during the day time on the 25th then I'm there. Any time on the 26th is OK for me too.

Hopefully my car's engine will be screwed back together by then.

I thought it had been a bit quiet lately.

I was at the BSB at Silverstone last weekend and it was there that I finally came across something louder than your car... a historic race bike of some decription. Almost made my ears bleed!

So have we norminally decided on that weekend then? And if so, what time and which day? The pubs are likely to be busy on Sunday lunch time and some people may be at work on Saturday, so how about Sunday afternoon. Maybe 4 or 5pm at The Plough? Whatever suits everyone really.

Could always move it if it's going to be a problem for a lot of people?

For me, the car is likely to be off the road much before then (MOT etc.) and I'm busy all Halloween weekend (roadie'ing for a gothabilly band and you can imagine it's a busy time of year for them ), but afterwards is okay if people don't mind the onset of winter.

Nah, they're great fun. Think the Rocky Horror Picture show with better instrumentals and the addition of zombie strippers.
