Help required from any estate agenting PHers or clued up locals.

Looking at property within a certain area, basically the triangle from Bermondsey tube station, to London Bridge and down to bottom of Bermondsey Street.

I know its a traditionally st area, but we have spent a few weekends looking at various areas and there are a couple of places looking like a possible "go". It would be for a fairly long-term ownership (live in for first 3 years, rent it out after that) and Bermondsey looks like it may be worth a punt in the current market? Its a lot of flat for the £.

Any help (here or via email in my profile) much, much appreciated.

Go for somewhere along Jamaica Road. You will love how the locals in the pubs react to their
manor called a st hole. wink

Seriously,I reckon Bermondsey Sq sounds just your type of place.

Stay away from the Grange flats, Neckinger Council Estate nearby on Spa Road.
Might be to old school for you after dark....
