I reckon it was tongue and cheek as 186mph is almost certainly unachievable in that tunnel.

Also there are speed cameras in the Limehouse link as far as I am aware so he would have been caught in the process.

Does he say the actual tunnel or the entire link, don't forget there is a nice fast bit from just before the fish market to the A13 at Canning town

No speed cameras in the tunnel itself (I once run out of petrol in the tunnel in a hire car!) The cameras are for traffic control only as I ws told by the bib when they towed me out. They also told me it's the only tunnel in London that if you need to get towed from you don't go to court for! Lucky me! Oh, and there are traffic lights at the Billingsgate end of the tunnel so it's be pretty insane to be doing anything too quick out of that end...

All flash and sometimes even have film in..

I know ppl who've been pointed from there.

They're digital (first set in the UK back in 2003 ish). They always work. What is incorrect is most satnavs say it's average speed past the market and in the tunner. It isn't....

you sure they're digital.. I know a few mates of ours who've been flashed a few times in there but only actually received nips on less than a few.
