I've got a free evening and the weather looks quite nice, so I think I'm going to go for a little hoon this evening - probably leave Enfield about 7 and take in some of Herts and a tiny bit of Beds.

It'll be a relatively relaxed pace (I'm going to take the racing drivers line and blame the tyres for that! smile) but PM if interested.

Would love to say yeah, but unfortunately been quite busy lately and for the near future too. Sometime in the near future, I'd love to tag along though. Have fun anyway.wink

Think I actually spotted you on way over to pick up the other half last night. You were coming into the NSL from Botany Bay going past a van or 2 as I was leaving it.wink

Would have flashed, but thought you may have thought I was flashing for the overtake and also wasn't sure it was you, so didn't want to look a right idiot!

That would be me. smile

I noticed the Coupe actually, did wonder if it was you. Sorry if I got a little close BTW - didn't leave you quite as much room as I'd like to (think I must have consumed a few too many pies before pulling out past those cars!)

Here's a useless post, a waste of pixels.

Hey Chris, I'd really love to join you tonight. But I can't, I'm busy. Never mind, next Wednesday I'll be there. Unfortunately, the Strat still hasn't been remapped and so you will hear me 'popping and banging' well before I arrive. It's a shame, I wanted the car sorted before the 28th but I can't get the remap done until the 30th. frown Oh well.

BTW, I wont be able to get to the K & T until 8.15 ish next week. But I will be there!!

Have fun tonight.

Elliott.

p.s. We must step up our efforts to find some pics of Freddie v R in a compromising position so that we can bribe him into bringing the C-type. biggrin

Popping and banging is good! As someone on the TVR forum said, what you really need is a flame-thrower map that sends a dose of unburnt fuel down the exhaust, afterburner'ing any tailgaters!

If you're Stratos is still going to be in angry mode and there's things like a Viper turning up I'm definitely going to be left with the quiet, discrete car!

Ah well, fun as last night was, it's looking rather overcast today. I'm also mindful that all this time in the car is likely to have a detrimental effect on my health. Obviously the eardrums are already going, but on a more serious note I swear I've put on about a stone since buying that. My spare time used to be spent on my mountain bike!

Right - next week - PH MTB hoon around Trent Park!

Only joking
