Hi all,
I've noticed that a lot of the other regional areas tend to get posts frequently, although this area tends to be neglected. Was wondering if we Londoners are just too busy, or if we are really like all those people you see on the tube, never talking to others... Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to get the London forum to be a big love in, was just curious really.

I've only started to look at the regions again after a while of neglecting them (they're hidden right down at the bottom of the page!)
It has to be said that the London region on SELOC is usually very quiet, mainly because it's so difficult to have a meet for all of the region at a sociable time and most drinks tend to be for those who work in the City (although I use public transport now and Greenwich is only a couple of stops from London Bridge). So I tend to hang out with the Kent region there. Guess it can be similar here, too.

It seems to lack any kind of regular meets, the Thames Valley for example has a regular pie & beer gathering, which tends to get people going along, they also had a where are you and hwat do you drive.
Possibly the numbers in London work against this. I wonder if London shouldn't be broken down to West, East, North, South and Central forums?

a bunch of us have been running a regular meet in East London (formerly the Beckton meet). We now meet the first Sunday morning of every month. Usual format, meet, checkout the cars, kick the tyres, drink coffee, go for a hoon, end up at a pub for grub...
We usually get a good mix of cars from 'every day' runarounds to exotics (ferraris, lambos etc).
The more the merrier. Next one this Sunday.... do come on down.....
