I have to go to Mayfair this week, and the rail unions are helpfully taking strike action.

Are the roads crazy busy on strike days, or are people WFH?

Last time there was a Saturday strike I drove to Tottenham, took me hours. Traffic around north circular and main roads was still. I would avoid it if you can

London traffic is weird these days. The old moderately predictable patterns have gone and it now seems pretty much random. Can be crazy busy or fairly quiet any day of the week.

Generally quieter earlier in the week and mid morning. But v variable. Train strikes do make it worse but not always by that much as many people just WFH.

Tldr, it's a lottery.
