Got to get my daughter to Maida Vale for an interview and timings make a rail journey extremely expensive and difficult from Devon. I am thinking of driving to a station nearby, maybe Wembley area and parking up, could anyone 'local' offer advice on a safe place to park and best compromise.

Instead of going in "so far" how about looking at Turnham Green (M4 elevated). Lots of easy parking there and on the District line

I used to park here daily and then travel around meetings by tube. Worked very well for me for a couple of years

The M&S there has parking all day for 10£ and there are usually spaces

If you're not already sorted, what's the date/time of the interview?

Depending on the date/time, you're welcome to leave it on my driveway.

10 minutes walk to Kenton station (Bakerloo line) and under 30 minutes on the tube direct to Maida Vale underground station.
