My friend's wheelchair which apparently uses Titanium (alloy?) tubing has cracked, spare part been ordered from Germany but won't be here for a couple of week and she has a half marathon next weekend.

If you can recommend someone who can weld Titanium she'd be very grateful.

Thanks

My guess would be SW London, probably they are willing to travel a bit further for a fix?

Who knows?

Teddington, but finding someone right there is unlikely, so bus travel from there.

Thanks

Try Googling bicycle builders.

Bit of a journey, but

Built a work mate a Titanium road bike not so long ago. So you might be lucky and they'll help in exchange for a fee and a few photos of them doing a good deed for someone. They may knmow someone in any case.

I would have thought this thread would get more attention in the Engines or Home Mechanics forum, or even the Lounge....

Hope you get it sorted OP! Good luck.

Have you tried GBL Wheelchairs? I've used them for 30 years and they're a great bunch - not far from you either I think (TW13 6AR)

They may well know someone.
