Balham and Clapham South roads without parking restrictions
Discussion
Hi all,
Wondering if anyone can help please? I was just wondering if there are any roads close to either Balham and/or Clapham South tube stations that don't have any parking restrictions? I don't mind a 10-15 minute walk from the car to the stations, it would be handy just for one specific day. Google hasn't been my friend of late
Thanks in advance.

I live and drive around SW London.
There's an industrial estate near Earlsfield station that has one road with no restrictions. It's full by 6am.
The roads west of Southfields tube station up in the estates about 10 mins walk away are free, but again you'll be lucky to find a space.
I think generally everywhere is restricted now. About 10 years ago I knew a few mews off of Oxford St that had no yellow lines but alas the blasted yellow and red lines are everywhere.
When I was commuting in from Surrey, I'd park near Southfields tube (before I discovered the unrestricted roads) where there was a 130pm to 230pm restriction.
I'd come back in my lunchtime and move the car to a long road about 10mins walk from Earlsfield station where the restrictions stopped at 11am, then train back in.
All because I started too early for the commuter train and finished too late to get a train back home.
Now I'm back in London, and hating it, at least my commute is not a problem and it's cheap.

I am looking to park up on a Thursday night and collect it Friday after work as my GF lives in Balham and driving her and her sister to Heathrow on the evening.
I live in N London and didn't want to leg it home and drive to S London as the traffic will be rubbish.
From Balham station, go along the top of Tooting Bec common towards St Reatham and you should find somewhere along there.I live in N London and didn't want to leg it home and drive to S London as the traffic will be rubbish.

Thanks for that HM. Google Maps is taking an age to load.
