Hi,

I have a meeting planned next month in Herne Hill, having not really ventured around London much so my knowledge is slim.
Basically I am getting the train in to Kings Cross and need to get to Herne Hill quickly as possible on a Friday morn (train gets in at 10:50am).

What is the easiest & quickest route from kings cross to Herne Hill & how long can I expect it to take.

Thanks in advance

Victoria line to Victoria then train to Herne Hill, or walk to St Pancras and take a Thameslink train straight to Herne Hill.

Six of one, half dozen of the other.

Thameslink from st Pancras. Trains to Sutton via elephant and castle normally every 15 mins or so in week.

Thanks guys. All booked up, does this sound reasonable;

Train gets in to Kings cross at 10:42, I will then be getting the tube to Victoria (10 mins?) then the 11:10 train from Victoria to Herne hill. So basically 30 mins to get from kings cross to Victoria station? My ticket to Herne Hill is already booked so hopefully straight on.

Also this is probably a daft question but I presume Victoria train station is situated next to the tube once on ground level?

Just follow the signs for railway station, when you get to the top of the escaltors it should be straight ahead. Your Train to Herne Hill should leave from platforms 1 to 8.
