Where to park in Fitzrovia

London folk, I hope you guys can help a Midlander.

I'm out on Saturday evening in the capital and may need to drive in. I'll be picking up a new toy and want somewhere safe to leave her for a few hours while I go out.

Any advice on where is good/safe in the Fotzrovia area?

Preferably off the street as I may be out till late so don't want some drunkards kicking it in

If it's on-street parking, I'd be inclined to park around Berkeley Square to the south or Russell Square to the east - never had a problem parking a 911 in either location..
