Poorly Nissan Figaro Needs help near Clapham

A friend of mine has just bought a Nissan Figaro which has started making a "squeaking noise as she drives that only stops when she applies the brakes".

Can anyone recommend a decent mechanic in the Clapham-ish area who could take a look? She took it to one garage already but had the feeling they were treating her as a dumb blonde and recommending a whole bunch of fixes without a promise of curing the issue.
