Where can you get up high in London for good views excluding the cable car, the eye and shard? Want to kill a bit of time there

Free is preferable cus I'm tight, but don't mind paying

Cheers

The Monument is pretty cheap and actually historic in itself. Or right up the top of St Pauls.

There are a few bars and restaurants up high too, but they won't be cheap.

Kenwood gives a good view. Or Alexandar Palace. A way out, but nice views

Parliament Hill offers great views. Walk up across the Heath towards Kenwood House for a nose around and then into the Spaniards Inn and you'll have been entertained for a good few hours.

As a starter for ten, head up to the top of One New Change - nice views of St Pauls.

You're probably looking for something a bit more though!

certainly a good view from the top of St Pauls, but also loads of steps and not cheap at £16 although at the moment you can get 2 for 1 if you're going by train.
