New Job on 13th January... No House Yet!

Hello!
On New Years Eve I was offered a job in Islington. It really is a excellent opportunity and I have wanted to live in London for a very long time.
However... I currently live in Torbay.
Do any PHers know of any rooms to let in London area? £150 a week is around my maximum.
I am looking on the websites too but thought I would ask on here to broaden my search.
The let would be for approximately 5 months, possibly longer. I would stay with my GF for a bit but her flatmate doesn't seen overly keen on the idea.

Edit: Also, where should I not rent? I know there are some rough parts of London so some advice there would be lovely, thanks.

It's my brother in laws letting agents, ask for Ben, they specialise in room rentals and deal in areas in NW London so not far from islington, should be able to sort something pretty quick for you
